I upgraded my centos 6 BE to the centos 6 CR repo, so then I would have 
all updates that are also in RHEL6.
let's see if that make a difference.

By the way, there are several devel packages that are not available in 
centos 6 to succesfully compile mythtv with most of the features turned 
on. I'm using the atrpms for that. I believe those packages aren't 
available in RHEL either.

If I can help with debugging, testing or anything, let me know. My old 
mythtv setup is also still running.
