That's one way of fixing it. I was going to discuss the alternatives with you 
the next time you were using IRC. For the time being it seemed expedient to 
disable the feature since I don't suppose many people are even aware of it's 
existence.

If you're ok with ignoring the action when the textedit is in focus then 
that's the change I'll commit.
