If you could identify the commit that broke seeking that would
help immensely. I witnessed the same problem in the mythtv-rec
branch after the latest merges from trunk there, so that should
help bracket the search. Also I've seen some hints that it is
audio or A/V sync code related; but a bisect shouldn't be too
many compiles even without using that unproven info.
