After scanning some more I noticed several other channels were
determined Encrypted that aren't. If I check the "Test
Decryptability" these channels are then "Decrypted". I saw the help
about CAM/smartcard and figured I didn't need that and since the
default state was unchecked I left it off. To be fair there is also a
line saying "Sometimes the encrypted flag is set spuriously". So
maybe this is working as intended and if so please close it.

But in an effort to make this more user friendly it seems the "Test
Decryptability" box should be checked by default. This way there is a
better chance a new user will get all the channels. I could submit a
patch for that if everyone thinks it is a good idea.

There seem to be several tickets related to determining whether a
channel is encrypted (http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/8645 for one)
so maybe this is just part of that.

In any case my kids got a new computer for Christmas so I now have a
myth test/dev box to play with. If I can be of help with writing
patches or testing let me know.
