This broke my system also.  I only have mysql listening on the
internal IP,  so its not listening on 127.0.0.1,  local apps can
either connect to the internal ip I  told them to (like mythtv used
to) or use the local mysql socket.  Requiring mysql on 127.0.0.1 is
not a nice new requirement and could cause some real hassle for users.
