Silly Brits.  The same issue occurs with that non-standard format, I'd
assume?  Fine...

It would be good to leave the comment (or something similar) in there so
later we don't say "why the heck are we doing this!?".  Your patch is
confirmed working though.  I wasn't sure if that would work or not, which is
why I essentially cropped the picture, but it does seem to work just fine.
 Thanks :)  Squeaking out every bit of extra CPU cycles is always good in my
mind.  More CPU for other things... like commercial detection.

It would be nice to get this in for 0.24.
