I know others have chimed in here, but I also run a mix of 64 and 32 bit
systems, mainly using Gentoo as the distro, but one LFS. Other then
having an post-update issue with one 64 bit machine which turned out to
be a minor configuration error ( had: ALSA:default should have had:
ALSA:iec958:CARD=NVidia,DEV=0 ) I really can't say I've have any
particular issues with 64 bit machines over and above what I'm seeing on
32 bit machines. Well, actually one, but that (again) was my own stupid
fault (didn't build the LFS machine as multi-lib, so no flash capability).
FWIW, I try to run a fairly recent trunk on all (less then a week old
generally).
Regards,
Andrew.
