Doh,

Waited 6 months then missed this :-)

Ok saw the closed notice, and tested with 0.23-fixes r24486, which is on 
my frontend.

1) the original bug/feature of never matching is still there. xrand is 
definately not being used to change display based on content, which is 
the point of this bit of code.
2) The user experience of watching a 30 fps movie on a 25 fps display is 
subjectively better than I remeber, but that may just be the test movie 
I used.

Should I reopen the ticket or repost. It really is a trivial patch to 
fix the inherrent bug.
