Hi

I had a look at my old patch, and the only time I can think where it
wouldn't go back from 2 -> 6 is when it's doing something like:

2 - 6 - 2 - 6 - 2 - 6

Because it detected very fast changes from 2 to 6 and then this
suddenly stops, it still considers the change to 6 as a buggy one and
ignores it...

still wouldn't have happened if the stream wasn't corrupted in the
first place ...
