I'd like to join the parade and also include the settings for subtitle sizes. Display devices vary widely and people's eyes even more so I'd really like to have a way to ensure that I can read subtitles regardless of theme.

I'm not sure about this anti-settings bent. Sure there are a lot of them but the alternative is people maintaining private patch sets to get myth to be the way they want and where's the sense in that? I think the settings are a plus.
