 This patch by all rights should fix both problems, but it actually brings
 back the no video problem. :|

 FYI For anyone experiencing either problem, removing pulseaudio & libpulse
 development packages when compiling makes both problems go away.

Daniel. AFAIK, This code is only called if mythtv was compiled without
pulse audio support.
