 Forgot to mention, what I see on the screen is blackness. After selecting
 the new theme the frontend behaves like it is starting the switch but
 never displays the new theme.

Is there a debugger or something I can use to capture what is going on at the time this issue occurs other than the log file?
Dbg will not work as its not crashing, unless someone can tell me of a feature I don’t know about.
Since I don't hear anyone else commenting on this I'd like to help find the issue and get it fixed. I hope I'm not the only one seeing it.
