[mythtv] Ticket #7589 : LCD is not cleared after finishing watching a recording

Can one of the devs please re-open this ticket.  It was closed by
paulh as "worksforme" but I have found the reason why it doesn't work
for me although it works for him.  The patch I supplied is still
required (in some form).

BTW: Is there a reason that the trac website offers to let me reopen
the ticket but then refuses when I select the option?
