It's a known issue with 5.1 AAC playback. We use an external decoder for 
AAC playback, instead of the normal ffmpeg libraries, as it's needed for 
LATM support used by some broadcasters. One of the devs is working on 
support to submit upstream to ffmpeg, which will hopefully get back to 
MythTV some time in the 0.25 cycle.

In the mean time, the native formats used by your Blurays will work fine 
with MythTV. Just pull the m2ts's off the disk again, and don't 
transcode the audio this time.
