No, I intend to maintain both branches for the planned future.  Consider 
it a third set of bindings for a new language, along side the existing 
Perl and Python ones.  Following that analogy, any scripts written for 
Python 3.x will not be directly usable under Python 2.x.

As far as the current bindings and CentOS, most things should work under 
Python 2.5 as well.  I believe only a few of the MNV grabbers require 2.6.
