[mythtv] VDPAU Fails after 3 prior successful plays

The number "2" issue above only occured for me with the latest drivers,
the older drivers did not show this problem for me.

I can't login to my box atm but the version that worked for me, ships with
Ubuntu Jaunty...

I hope this observation helps.
