I am aware of the number functionality,[1] but the patch:

* Needs one button, versus three.
* Is dynamic; the jump will always be ten times the jump amount
  defined for the current playback group.[2]
* Eliminates the current redundancy in functionality between
  CHANNELUP/CHANNELDOWN and JUMPRWD/JUMPFFWD.

[1] Is this documented anywhere (as opposed to mythtv-users, where I
learned about it)? I don't see it mentioned at
<URL:http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-11.html>, although
number-I is. Number-sticky isn't mentioned there either.

[2] Speaking of which, just what is the default jump amount in the
Default playback group? Mine has been set to 1 minute for so long I
don't remember whether it came that way or not. The HOWTO says it's
10; is that correct?
