I just updated to 20787 yesterday. I still occasionally see a horizontal
rolling band of distortion. It will start at some random vertical
position, then slowly scroll to the bottom and disappear. Then things
are perfect for a minute or two, then it will happen again. Is this what
is meant by "tearing"? If so, I still occasionally see it as of 20787.

I also get "jump backs". This happens only occasionally, but it's always
when I hit fast forward to skip through an ad. Suddenly I will be a
minute or two back in the recording. But it THINKS it's where it is
supposed to be, as shown by the OSD. Somehow, the position marker is
correct, but what is actually being shown is a minute or two behind. If
I quit out of the recording, saving current position, and restart it,
it's back in sync.

Lastly, commercial flagging doesn't seem to work on my h.264 files. They
always show up as "Not Flagged". I have not started to investigate this
yet.

None of these problems occur with the HD files produced by my HDHomerun,
or with SD recordings produced by the PVR-500. These problems are
specific to h.264 playback. I am using VDPAU with a GeForce 9500 GT.
Fedora 10 x86_64 with an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor
4200+ if any of that matters. My h.264 files are produced by an HD-PVR.
