John, I think I have similar issue with my 22957. Sometimes - after pause - I can't resume playback. Myth behaves like frozen. In fact is alive as I can go i.e. telnet, see process, etc. All this behavior is inline with symptoms described by You. If You can provide patch - I can test it... thx
