[mythtv] Ticket #6888: Live transcoding of dvb sources

Hi all,

a long time ago, I wrote to this list proposing a live transcoding.
After loosing the first version of this patch, it took me some time to
rewrite it again. This patch is not yet finished and still has bugs and
probably also memory leaks.

The next steps would be to improve the patch and build a possibility to
provide a http stream (would be great if this can be done with the
mythtv's internal http server, could someone have a look into this?).

I don't know if this feature can be selected for this release as it's
not yet finished and i wouldn't already post it, if there wasn't this
mail about "Feature Freeze" ;)

regards
rené
