So, then, this would be the point at which we beg for our favorite patches
and/or enhancements, right? ;-)
I would like to respectfully ask that Ticket #3405 be included in the release.
This is a patch to support ALSA sound through analog tuners. I would really
like to see this in the release as I use the analog setup on my HDTV Wonder
and F11 no longer supports OSS by default (and enabling it results in other
problems).
The ticket is marked "Accepted" but I see no sign of the updates in trunk. It
seems to be independent of any of the UI changes and only adds a bit of
functionality to allow ALSA in addition to OSS inputs. Perhaps someone with a
bit more gravitas than me could champion it?
