Thanks Erik.  Your patches *may* make it more stable, but I am still
getting crashes.  They do seem to be less frequent, though.

If I have time this weekend, I will try to come up with some back traces.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
