Add a me too for seeing this problem with some additional information. I
usually use the pause button in my testing. The problem happens just
after the recorded show starts playing - typically 30-60 seconds into
the show. The unresponsiveness remains for 2-5 minutes. It will happen
again shortly after the problem clears. So, it happens multiple times
per recording for me.

I have done an update and a make distclean prior to building.

The remote has been checked to ensure button presses are recognized by
irw in another terminal as well as seeing the keycode get sent to the
external program through mythtv. Keypresses from a keyboard are also
ignored however the input from the keyboard sometimes breaks the
stalemate and causes all the keypresses and buttons to come through.

The kernel is: 2.6.25.11-97.fc9.i686 i686 with nvidia drivers 173.14.12.
A later kernel (2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686) has been tested with the same
result.
