Yes, the AC3 parser has the same problem as the AAC parser. I missed 
that since it works on amd64 and does not generate a compiler warning.

David, can you test 
http://www.grunau.be/mythtv_ffmpeg_sync_15261_18763.diff.bz2? it should 
solve at least the issue with the ac3 recording.
