You make a good point except that UPnP is read only (I believe).  Not to say
that it wouldn't be a good start.  Say in the form of a UPnP client that
would be myth-centric.  I would also require tcp communication where UPnP is
udp and usually reserved for LAN communication only.

If I had a mission statement: I want to control myth actions from anywhere
on my android phone.
