I think you get this compile error because your kernel headers used  
for mythtv compilation are not updated to multiproto. At least I had  
to do this manually (using Gentoo). It's basically just a copy of the  
headers from your kernel source tree to /usr/src/include/linux (or  
similar). An alternative would be to point mythtv to another include  
directory.

Hmm - that's really weird. Unfortunately I was not able to test the  
DVB-S2 part yet, because my card is still not fully supported by  
multiproto. But that could be related to the compilation error you got  
in the first place.

Sorry - i can't tell you anything about that, but the channel somehow  
has a delivery system attached to it, containing the needed information.
