[mythtv] Why .nuv files

While not common, MythTV's nuppel video format is open. :)

You can read about the reasoning for nuv being chosen initially at
mythtv.org. A number of years ago it was the best low CPU format
available. Also it allows the seek map to be stored in the file
unlike many other containers like MPEG-PS or MPEG-TS.

If you would like to add support for more output formats that is
a welcome addition. I would especially like plain MPEG-TS so that
subtitles could be easily included in the output.
