a quick follow-on.....   If interested in the capabilities of the TVEngine3
(aka TV-Server) see the table here:
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/TV-Engine_0.3/overview  ...it looks a lot
like mythtv to me from the perspective of the claimed capabilities.  :-)
