George,
    I missed that in the OSX-packager.pl code.  :-)    I've just tried it
locally, and I didn't need to change anything except the server name,
because LWP::Useragent (perl module) automatically handles redirects for
GET  requests (which is all we do), which is great.
Thanks for the tip.  The change will be in the next uploaded version of my
win32 packager script.
