Sorry, I don't understand the examples and how they differ. What's
this "pseudo-prefix"?
My initial thought, based on a cursory glance at storage groups, is
to create a MythVideo storage group where each entry in
VideoStartupDir becomes an SG directory. Those prefixes are stripped
off the current videometadata.filename column and a new column is
populated with the name of the storage group ("MythVideo" for the
initial convert). Videos are then identified by the combination of
storage group + relative path.
There are more details, obviously, but that's the basis for where I'd
go. Are we saying the same thing?
