what its suppposed to do is do timestretch as 6ch and then reencode
AC3 so you should always have AC3 digital feed at your amp.
naturally I cant test this myself but I thought it worked ok.
thus no need to disable timestretch as everything is still 6ch.

If it doesnt do this, please provide a log with audio and playback on and 
Ill see.
