[mythtv] mythshutdown: Could not initialize myth context. Exiting.

I get "mythshutdown: Could not initialize myth context. Exiting." in my 
mythbackend log when the scheduler attempts begin the shutdown sequence. 
This did not have with SVN15568 and is new with 15878.  Before I post a 
ticket, thought I'd check here if anyone has any ideas.  Running 
mythshutdown from an SSH prompt does not give the same error.
