My mythweb is set up on a server dedicated to serving internet- 
accessible stuff like email and other web sites. It does not have to  
be on a machine that also has a backend running. If I want to watch a  
streaming video, I would want the most idle backend handle the  
transcoding. I want my web server handling http (and related)  
requests, not transcoding video. I do have my system set up like yours  
- nothing is transcoded by default.
