[mythtv] backend idle shutdown even with connected frontends

Just thinking out loud but it seems to me the backend needs to stay running. How else is an upcoming recording going to happen?

What I am saying is that the backend can see when no frontend is
connected so instead of extending the backend with detection of idle
frontends you can simply _disconnect_ the idle frontends.
I have found a working solution in the user mailing list that simply
makes use of xscreensaver -watch. I have slightly extended it and it's
working real nicely.
I realize that quitting mythfrontend to MythWelcome screen before the
suspend to ram might be an unnecessary step for you so perhaps you could
reuse the xscreensaver -watch idea for sending the ALLOW_SHUTDOWN
message?
