Hi,
This is a copy of a message I posted last week on the -users list,
however without success (no replies at all).

I'm just looking for clues where to start searching. I tried dvbsnoop,
but I'm quit unexperienced in this and actually dont know which is the
best option to run it with or how to interpret the results.

My assumtion is that the TS stream coming from the driver is not 100%
ok.

this is what DVBsnoop reports:

 dvbtune -f 12343500 -p h -s 27500
Using DVB card "ST STV0299 DVB-S"
tuning DVB-S to L-Band:0, Pol:H Srate=27500000, 22kHz=off

and monitoring the quality:

I'm getting this error while recording or viewing a DVB-s signal.

This continues until I stop viewing. The image quality does not show
problems, but the log is filling up. (And I have another problem for
which I want to examine the log, and that's a bit hard if I have 3-4
events per second in the log)

I have no clue how this is caused or where I should start
troubleshooting/debugging. It seems something fails within the TS
synchronisation, but how and what is unclear to me.

Any help/guidance/......solution ?

Signal quality seems to be good, display is perfect.

Johan
