If the user doesn't want generic episodes recorded, the recording rule 
should specify that's the case.  See 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/325543#325543.  Note, 
also, you can modify the record identified episodes and notify you about 
generic episodes so that the second rule (the "notify" rule) actually 
records.  You can even use it as a "per-day" or "per-week" rule or limit 
the max number of recordings for that rule so you only get "some" of them.
