The patch I posted has only been there 10 days, so I'm assuming you are 
talking about an earlier patch, in which case - no it won't ever be committed 
to trunk.

Besides, if you've already got the patch installed then what is the hurry 
about getting it into trunk? 

I was planning on committing 2335_fix.diff tonight, but that might give the 
impression that I was responding to  your request so I'm tempted to leave it 
another 24 hours.

P.S. In case you haven't caught on yet, "Can this be committed" type posts to 
trac and the mailing list just tend to irritate devs. We aren't just sitting 
around waiting for other people to tell us which patches or bugs need 
attention. The most recent patch to #2335 needed to be thoroughly tested 
before it could be committed - I happen to know that no users have done this 
testing despite requests, or they would have spotted the same major bug that 
I did.
