I'll second this. I'm working on a new theme right now and space is pretty 
limited, especially if you respect the 5% overscan border. Not only do you 
have to find room for this extra information, you have to do it within the 
overall design/layout that you are working with. Using TV readable font sizes 
most themes already struggle to keep text within their areas.

The alternative Justin has suggested seems more useful too.
