Sounds like useful change if you want to do bulk deletes.

Usually you create an Enhancement ticket and attach your patch. The
devs review the tickets in time and usually someone that is familiar
with the relevant section of code will take the ticket. See

If you weren't going to write the patch yourself then the "Feature
Request" would be added to the list at
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Feature_Wishlist
The dev that takes the ticket will review it (when they get a chance)
and will usually provide feedback in some form or another.
