[mythtv] ffmpeg sync

Related question, do not know whether this is correct thread, here goes:

mythtranscode at the moment when using -m parameter crashes on H.264 
recordings. I habitually use:
mythtranscode -c <chan> -s <starttime> -m -l --showprogress -o 
<file-name> to convert a recording to a stored mpg file.

This crashes though. Any idea when H.264 support will be added to 
mythtranscode? Or should i use a different parameter? I have no wish to 
transcode from H.264 to something else, i just want the additional 
start, end and commercials to be gone...
