In order to get your name in the "Reported by" field with (the current
installation of) Trac, you must be a user with a valid session. To
ensure this is the case, before creating your ticket, go to
"Preferences" and type in a name/e-mail address and click the "Save
changes" button. Then, when you create a ticket, your name will be
automatically filled in for "Your email or username" and will appear in
the "Reported by" field.
If, after attempting to set your session, you go to Create New Ticket
and see "anonymous" in the "Your email or username" field, your changing
it on the ticket creation page will have no effect. So, make sure you
have a valid session first.
Note that this has nothing to do with the Login function of Trac. Only
devs can log in.
