Oh. That explains why I couldn't find it. Technically, 4.3+ is still
alpha ( ftp://alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu ) even though 4.3.0 was released on
Dec 12, 2005. The current stable version (
http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/findutils/ ) is 4.2.30 (from Feb 28, 2007).
I chose to go with stable since there were no features I found lacking
in the stable version (and I am a find junky). The access args are
interesting and can make some things easier, but--as you've
proved--aren't required. :) However, I will keep this is mind for
future upgrades...
