Actually, we have had that: I had a problem attempting to change channels 
across multiplex in LiveTV that I've mentioned before, but didn't investigate 
it at all.
 
My backend startup script auto restarts it after a crash so I didn't notice it 
disappear!  

Given that danielk said (in one of his comments on ticket 3326): ' LiveTV 
still has plenty of known problems, try it at your own risk' 
I figured it was one of those things to check later once the devs are more 
confident with LiveTV.

We don't tend to use LiveTV that much anyway, if at all.
