That's completely wrong. The standard operation (that's there the 
impression of fast channel switches come from) is to use the 
Technotrend Full-featured DVB-Cards as STB. The DVB-Stream is on the 
card directly routed to the hardware encoder. There is no time shift 
available for watching TV. There is a plugin for timeshift but I doubt 
that the channel change will stay low if you use it.
