Hey folks,
I know these "webinars" are usually a big waste of time and bandwidth,
but I thought it might at least be of interest to anyone working on
libmythui. If nothing else, there will probably be some pretty
pictures :-)
Cheers,
JAC

Hello Everyone:
I am pleased to announce that Trolltech, together with Systems in
Motion (SIM) and Midland Valley Exploration (MVE) will be hosting two
free webcasts - broadcast live on February 13 and 14 - where we will
demonstrate how the Qt application development framework, together
with the advanced Coin3D graphics toolkit from SIM, provide one of the
best 3D visualization solutions for developing advanced applications
in the Oil & Gas industry.
Midland Valley Exploration Ltd. (MVE) is the world leader in structural
geology modeling and analysis in the Oil & Gas industry. In order to
meet customer demand for their 4DVista structural geology viewer
software across multiple platforms, they required a solution that
enabled them to develop advanced 3D visualization capabilities with a
consistent user environment. For this, they turned to Qt and Coin3D.
Attend the free webcast, and discover how Midland Valley Exploration:
Enabled first-time GUI developers to develop an advanced user
environment
Delivered advanced 3D graphics capabilities without struggling
with classic OpenGL programming
Cut up to a year off their development cycle, saving costs and
delivering their product faster

Each webcast will feature Colin Dunlop, Principal Software Engineer at
MVE, and Bruce Hargan, Senior Softwar Engineer at MVE, who will walk
through the challenges faced by MVE in their 4DVista project. With
input from Trolltech and SIM, Colin will then discuss how Qt and
Coin3D addressed their challenges, allowing MVE to deliver advanced 3D
visualization capabilities across multiple platforms, saving
development time and costs in the process.
