i'll run the system again with full logging, determine what channels the 
two cards were tuned to and run szap to see what kind of signal i get. 
i'm running a quad LNB into a 4x16 switch (not sure if switch is the 
correct word), so the signal to the two cards should be the same. i'll 
check on the signal for the appropriate transponders.

i did play with the dish last night and ot the MTBC (mean time between 
crashes) down from 3 minutes to 12 hours. i realise this is a work in 
progress and will do my best to help debug the situation but i assume 
the game plan is to get to a point where no matter what the quality of 
the signal is, myth will not crash.

i am currently running with your two v2 patches applied.

i'm going to australia for a few weeks, but will have remote access to 
my BE.
