[mythtv] Default character set

Just a quick question: is there a reason why the mythconverg database is
made with a default character set of 'latin1'? Specifically since it
appears we are in the habit of populating it with utf8 data...

Having the data be properly stored and collated as utf8 is kind of the
first step required in order to tackle locale issues in the Program
Finder and music sorting. Is there any reason why this change shouldn't
be made?
