We've made great progress on the Wiki at:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Windows_Port
such that it now compiles nicely based upon all the current files out there.

PS - I'm compiling mine in a pristine windows 2000 vmware box so I can be
sure there's no other crud interfering with the compile process.  The other
reason for doing this is because mingw/gcc is broken on Vista.
