[mythtv] New UI control

Have developers considered implementing something like MacroMedia
Flash-based UI? If this could be done, all the UI 3d effects, transitions
and whatnot could be scripted in themes that a lot of designers are
proficient with, allowing a lot more flexibility. Is that possible at all?
