Can you supply one of these .idx files along with a short clip of the
mpeg file that it was created from?  We could possibly make MythTV
write out one of these automatically.

I have a DSM-320 and have notice the FFWD issue, but I don't have a
windows server in the house to install the software on to create one
of these .idx files.  This is one of the things holding me back from
using my DSM-320 more, I can't skip commercials easily right now. :(
